Rycharde joins Avenue Q |

Love and family has brought Rycharde from his native Wales to the Philippines. A classically-trained actor, he has done his share of Shakespeare, Brecht and Ibsen before moving into the magical world of musical theater. He has been a part of LES MISERABLES, CHICAGO, LITTLE ME, THE VOLUPTUOUS TANGO, among others. In Manila, he has appeared in HONK and
JOSEPH THE DREAMER.
Right now he is dabbling in Film and TV work, and is busy preparing to play the role of the the would-be-stand-up-comedian, Brian in Avenue Q. He says, "I think Avenue Q is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. On a superficial level it's a show with puppets that's a little bit 'rude' but it's also essentially about acceptance and having belief in yourself.... it tackles some very difficult subjects in a very accessible and light-hearted manner. It's incredibly fun!"

A pediatrician. I was accepted into medical school and Drama school at the same time and chose to be an actor. I don't regret the decision but I'd still love to be a doctor. |
