HAIRSPRAY AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED

Atlantis Productions has announced open call audition dates for its highly anticipated production of the Tony Award winning musical HAIRSPRAY, which opens at the Star Theatre, CCP Complex in November.

Singers and dancers of all shapes and sizes are invited to audition for roles in the inspiring musical about an overweight girl who sets out to snag the cutest guy in town as well as win a spot on a hit TV dance show - and integrate it as well!

Singers are asked to prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song (bring either minus one cd or piano score) and a current photo. Singer Open Call Auditions are on Tuesday, April 8 from 11am to 4pm (Sign up begins at 10am) Dancers are asked to bring a current photo and come prepared to learn a dance combination. Dancer Open Call Auditions are on Friday, April 11 from 11am to 4pm. Both auditions are at STUDIO V, 56 Dona Hemady cor 8th St, New Manila, Quezon City.

HAIRSPRAY will be directed by Bobby Garcia, Choreography by Cecille Martinez, and Production Design by Gino Gonzales.
